Paul Jerome Sims

Paul Jerome Sims, 74, of Joshua, a retired postal carrier, died Tuesday April 20, 2010 in Fort Worth. Graveside: 10am Friday at D-FW National Cemetery. Visitation: 6-8 pm Thursday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home in Burleson. Paul was born October 3, 1935 in Waco to Samuel Arthur and Johnnie Bell Lackey Sims. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. Paul proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He loved camping, fishing, studying his bible and spending time with his family and friends. Paul was preceded in death by his parents and 1 sister. Survivors: Wife, Naomi Ruth Sims of Joshua; son, Tim Sims and wife Tammy of Van; daughter, Kellie Walker and husband Kerry of Poynor ; brothers, Jimmy Sims and wife Suzanne of Ennis; Sam Sims and wife Judy of Houston; sister, Betty Durow and husband Chuck of Tomball; 4 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; numerous extended family and friends.
