Paul Evern Williams

Paul E. Williams passed away peacefully in his sleep on July 07, 2022, at the age of 87.  He was born August 19, 1934, in Vernon, Texas to Otis and Pauline Williams.  Paul grew up in Fort Worth, Texas, and attended Pascal High School.  He joined the Navy and served aboard the USS Tillamook and was stationed in Kodiak, Alaska, and Honolulu Hawaii.   After his honorable discharge from the US Navy Paul joined his father as part of the Otis Williams and Son Plumbing Company.  In 1968 he made a career change and joined Southwestern Bell Telephone Company retiring from AT&T 30 years later in 1999. Paul was a Master Mason and a proud member of Caddo Grove Masonic Lodge #352.

Paul loved his family and was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather.  He enjoyed talking about his experiences as a cable splicer, guns and especially fishing in the ocean at Corpus.  He could fix anything and passed this skill to his children.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents Otis and Pauline Williams, daughter in law Monica Williams, grandson Justin Williams and a great grandson Bodie Talsma.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years Charline and four children, Phil Williams and wife Susan, Tommy Williams, Chris Williams, Lori Niles, and husband Chris.  Five grandchildren, Megan, Matthew, Andy, Abby and Brooke, and three great grandchildren.

The family will receive visitors July 13th from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm at the Mountain Valley Funeral Home in Joshua, Texas.  Memorial service will be July 14th at the Mountain Valley Funeral Home in Joshua, Texas at 2:00 pm.
