Pauline M. Dubon

January 19, 1949 — June 7, 2023

Hartford, Ct.

Pauline was born in Hartford Connecticut to Adelbert F. and Gloria S. DuBon.

She graduated from Enfield High School. She worked for almost 25 years for Aetna Insurance Company. She became a caregiver for the elderly and did this for many years. She married Philip and enjoyed this union for 18 years.

Pauline was an active member of the Lyons Club of both Arizona and Florida. She loved to volunteer for her church in whatever compacity that was needed. She attended bible studies on numerous occasions.

Although Pauline was challenged all her life, the one thing that she loved was Jesus. She loved not only the words of the Lord, but loved to listen to and sing with praise music.  She also enjoyed when the family would gather for whatever reason. Pauline would sit back, smiling, watching the shenanigans.  In her later years, Pauline would watch with a loving smile, as her great nieces and nephew frolicked.

Pauline was proceeded in death by her father, Adelbert F. DuBon, her mother, Gloria S DuBon, her younger brother, David S. DuBon and niece, Cheyanne Stratton.

She is survived by three sisters;  Doris Young, Nancy Starich and husband Jack, and Sally Rye and husband Rusty (FYI always said this was her favorite brother in law).

Two nieces, Michele Birdwell and Jennifer Cline, and one nephew Jeffrey Rye. She is also survived by great nieces and nephew of whom she thought the world revolved around.

Pauline died peacefully after suffering many years with a debilitating disease. She  will be cremated and remains to return to her favorite state of Connecticut.
