Penny Ann Macy Alvis passed away on November 16, 2019 in Burleson, Texas at the age of 71.
A private, intimate burial will be held at a later time for the family at Morrison Cemetery, Macyville, Kansas
Penny was married to her loving husband, Robert (Rusty) Alvis, for 51 years. One of her hobbies was attending all of her grandson's sporting and school events. In addition to her family she loved her canine companion, Minnie. She retired after 17 years working as an Administrative Technician for the City of Fort Worth Crime Lab.
Penny is preceded in death by her parents, Bill E. Macy and Mary Jane Shouse Macy; brother, William Eugene Macy & Wife Tina of Joshua Texas; and sister Pamela Macy Smith & Husband Gary Smith of Corpus Christi Texas.
In addition to her husband, Robert (Rusty) Alvis, Penny is survived by her , son Robert & wife Becky, Burleson Texas; daughter, Aundrea & husband Richard Rogers, Desoto Texas; Grandchildren - Wyatt, Tanner, Mason & Joey Alvis, all of Burleson TX and Brother Dick & Wife Virginia Macy of Ft. Worth TX
In lieu of Flowers - Memorials may be made to the Humane Society of North Texas.
