Perry L. Woodard Jr., 83, of Crowley, a retired surveyor for the Fort Worth Water Department, Engineering Division, died Tuesday, Jan. 25, 2011, in Fort Worth. Graveside service: 2 p.m. Saturday in Greenacres Memorial Park, Cleburne. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Perry L. Woodard Jr. was born Sept. 17, 1927, in Nemo to Perry Frank and Gracie Ann Cheek Woodard. He married Mary Jo Cook on April 7, 1951, in Fort Worth. He was a 50-year Master Mason and member of Southside Masonic Order. He retired from the Fort Worth Water Department, Engineering Division, after 41 years of service. He enjoyed vacations, traveling and working in his yard. He could fix about anything. Survivors: Wife of 59 years, Mary Jo Woodard of Crowley; son, Randy Woodard and wife, Terrie, of Crowley; sister, Pauline Newman of Fort Worth; grandson, Robert Woodard of Crowley; and several nieces and nephews.
