Phillip Ray Griffin, 57, passed away January 25, 2014. Service: 10:00 AM, Thursday, January 30, 2014 at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Interment: Peoria Cemetery in Whitney. Visitation: 6-8 PM, Wednesday at Funeral Home. Phil was born August 14, 1956, in Johnson County to Milton Wray and Arthie Lee Looney Griffin. He had lots of friends and family that loved him. Phil spent his life as a journeyman welder and a master fabricator. He loved family, fishing, animals, working, and clean living. Survivors: sons, Aaron Griffin of Euless and Brandon Griffin of Cleburne; sister, Candy Goldsmith; aunt and Uncle, Geraldine Callaway and Melvin of Burleson; wife and best friend, Janet Griffin; step sons, Eric and Cody Lee; niece, Natasha Bivens; friend, Julie Griffin Marino; great nephew, Gulian Bivens and Kaine Bivens; nephews Brion and Kelly Sullivan; niece, Terin Sullivan, extended family and friends.
