Phyllis Jean Clements, 88, a former Joshua School teacher, passed away Tuesday, February 12, 2013. Graveside Service: 10AM Saturday, February 16, Crowley Cemetery. Visitation: 6-8PM Friday, Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Phyllis was born June 12, 1924, in Indianapolis, IN, to Phillip and Opal (Pease) Prentice. She was preceded in death by her parents; Husband of 61 years, John Clements; and brother, Jim Prentice. Phyllis Graduated Summa Cum Laude from Butler University, and was a member of Delta Delta Delta Sorority. Her two life goals were to have children, and teach school. She accomplished them both.
