Pressley "P.J." Jordan, 71, of Godley passed away Friday, Oct. 11, 2013, in Fort Worth. Funeral: 11 a.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church of Godley. Interment: Everman Cemetery. Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. P.J. was born Feb. 26, 1942, in Fort Worth to Alvin Curtis and Eula Friend Jordan. He was preceded in death by his brother, Bill Butcher. P.J. was retired after 38 years with Texas Electrical. He was a true family man, and loved spending time with his grandchildren. P.J. was a U.S. Navy veteran, having served during the Cuban Missile Crisis. He loved the outdoors, and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Survivors: Wife, Sherry Jordan; sons, David Jordan and wife, Julie, Tommy Jordan, and wife, Elise, and Jarrett Baker; daughter, Jennifer Sabolchick and husband, Matt; grandchildren, Jeffrey, Avery, Gavin, Audrey, Preston, Jason, Olivia, Madison, Makenzie, Madeline and Trenton; brother, Joy Butcher; sister, Judy Hever; a host of loving extended family and friends; nephew, Gary Butcher, and niece, Suzy Stewart, whom he loved dearly.
