Randall Ray Strength, 56, of Arlington, an underwriter for Bank of America, went to be with the Lord after a long, courageous battle with cancer Sunday, Aug. 1, 2010. Funeral: 2 p.m. Wednesday in Mountain Valley Funeral Home Chapel. Interment: Burleson Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Arlington Cancer Center, 906 W. Randol Mill Road, Arlington, Texas 76012. Randall was born April 6, 1954, in Fort Worth to Travis Monroe and Thelma Jewel Ray Strength. He enjoyed sports, participating as well as watching. He liked spending time with friends at Texas State University in San Marcus. He was always cheerful, loving and supportive of his parents and family and always had kind things to say, even while he was sick. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Burleson. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors: Sister, Lisa Stewart and husband, Chip, of Rainbow; niece, Jordan Stewart; other nieces; numerous aunts and uncles; and great-nephew, Ari Fulgium.
