Randy Lynn Hoffman

Randy Lynn Hoffman, March 14, 1961 – July 13, 2022

Randy was born on March 14, 1961, in Fort Worth, Texas. He was the oldest of two and the only son of Lynn and Johnnie Hoffman. Randy graduated from Burleson High School then went on to work for Gearhart – Owens as a mechanic. He moved his family to Stephenville in 1989 where he drove a school bus for the Dublin Independent School District. Randy soon began working for Reynolds Nationwide Transportation Company where he drove and dispatched for over twenty years.

Randy married Shelly Owen in 1995. Over the next 27 years they enjoyed camping, family events and taking care of their many beloved pets. Randy, just like his father, was an avid fisherman. He loved being out on the water whether by himself or with family and friends. He enjoyed spending time around a campfire telling stories and sharing laughs with friends who meant the world to him. He picked up many hobbies and interests along the way. He was always working/playing on something new while listening to rock and roll music in his shop.

Randy was preceded in death by his father Lynn Hoffman of Burleson.

Randy is survived by his mother Johnnie of Burleson; wife Shelly of Dublin; son Hobey and wife Kasey Hoffman of Brownwood; daughter Haley and husband Brady Riley of Stephenville; grandchildren Kobey, Holdyn, Remi and Reece; sister Renee Hall of Burleson; and many cherished extended family members and close friends who he considered family.
