Renard Lee Blackstock Sr.

Renard Lee Blackstock Sr., 81, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 19, 2010. Memorial service: 2 p.m. Saturday in Mountain Valley Funeral Home Chapel. Renard Lee Blackstock was born Dec. 26, 1928, in Roscoe to Luther and Eva Blackstock. He married Mary Barham on Aug. 14, 1953, in Fort Worth. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force. His lifetime loves were antique cars, family and Hank Williams. He was preceded in death by his parents and seven siblings. Survivors: Wife, Mary Blackstock; son, Renard Lee Blackstock Jr. and wife, Gwen; daughters, Belinda Oler and husband, Pat, Datha Morris and husband, Jim; five grandchildren; one great-grandson.
