Rhonda Lynn Payne

Rhonda Payne died unexpectedly on June 30th, 2019 at JPS Hospital in Fort Worth, TX at the age of 56.

Rhonda was born in Great Bend, KS on March 2nd, 1963 to Richard and Nita Mohr. She graduated at the top of her class from Kansas State University with a degree in Accounting. She married John Payne, the love of her life, in 1991. After 3 years of marriage, the couple welcomed 2 children into their home. Rhonda's children remember her as a loving and driven mother who encouraged them to always pursue their goals
Rhonda enjoyed being around her beloved animals, traveling to the mountains with her husband John, and spending time with her grandson Nixon.

Rhonda is survived by her parents, Richard and Nita Mohr; her brother Ronnie Mohr; her 2 daughters Shelby and Calie Payne; and her grandson Nixon Walker.

The service will be held at 10am on Friday July the 5th at Mountain Valley Funeral Home in Joshua, TX. The Family will welcome visitors on Thursday July 4, 2019 from 9 AM to 3 PM at Mountain Valley Funeral Home.
