Richard Clark Pisell, 84, Burleson, passed away Thursday March 31, 2016. Service: First Baptist Church, Thursday, 10:30 AM, 317 W. Ellison St., Burleson, TX 76028. Visitation: 6-8 PM Wednesday, Mountain Valley Funeral Home, Joshua. Interment: Dallas-Ft. Worth National Cemetery, Grand Prairie. Richard (R.C.) was born in Wichita, KS on May 17, 1931 to Clyde and Agnes Pisell. He was a veteran, serving in the United States Marine Corp. as a Radio Operator. He entered civilian life as a communication specialist for the Rock Island, MKT and the Santa Fe railroads. He married Mary (Darlene) Kurshinski September of 1952. This union of love brought forth daughters, Diana and Debra. Richard enjoyed boating, fishing, water skiing, dominoes, pinochle, daily walks and dancing. He was preceded in death by his parents and his beloved wife, Darlene. Survivors: R.C. is survived by his two daughters, Diana and Debra and their husbands Don Pettke and Larry Weeks. Three grandchildren Dustin Pettke of Little Elm, TX, Danielle Pettke Klein of Cedar Park, TX and Tasha Weeks Preisner of Alvarado, TX. He was also blessed with three great-grandchildren, Abigail and Alexander Pettke and Maxwell Grace Klein. R.C. has a surviving brother, Robert of El Reno, OK. Robert's daughter, Linda, her daughter Brandi and her two children.
