BURLESON -- Richard Lynn "Ricky" Winkler, 50, a truck driver, died Sunday, April 16, 2006 in Fort Worth from injuries sustained in a car accident. Funeral: 2:00 p.m., Thursday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home Chapel in Burleson. Burial: Caddo Cemetery in Joshua. Visitation: 6-8 Wednesday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Ricky was born June 22, 1955 in Cleburne to Mr. and Mrs. Robert Lee Winkler. He lived his whole life in Burleson. He graduated from Burleson High School in 1974 where he was a member of the Burleson Rodeo Team for 4 years. He was also a past member of the King B Saddle Club and the NARC & SP. He was also a dedicated truck driver for over 30 years. He married Sherry White in 1974 and they had 2 children. He will be greatly missed by all of those that loved and knew him. Survivors: Son, Dustin Winkler of Crowley; daughter, Mandy Moore of Cleburne; parents, Robert and Barbara Winkler of Burleson; sisters, Dianne Hillis of Burleson, Carol Zortman of Udall, KS, Rebecca Gorman of Joshua; grandchildren, Aaron Moore, Marissa Moore, Nicole Winkler; Three nieces, four nephews, one great niece, and numerous family and friends.
