Rickey Wayne Brookshire

Rickey Wayne Brookshire, 61, passed away September 20, 2014, at home. Memorial Service: 10:00 AM, Thursday, September 25, 2014 at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Rickey was born September 18, 1953, in Fort Worth to David W. and Scyrena "Ann" (Wooten) Brookshire. He loved Dallas Cowboys football, Texas Rangers and watching TV. Rickey enjoyed being on the lake and riding his Harley. He was preceded in death by his parents, Uncle Larry Brookshire, and Aunt Nancy Wooten. Survivors: wife, Sherry Brookshire of Joshua; 4 children, Timothy Brookshire of Keene, Christopher Alland and wife Khele of Burleson, Amy Brookshire and husband Tommy Gordinser of Burleson, and Shawna Lancaster of Burleson; 9 grandchildren; 1 great grandchildren; brother, Dan Brookshire; sister, Debbie Hermosillo and husband Nick; 3 nieces, many extended family and friends.
