Robert Leonard Cox, 94, passed from this life on June 16, 2016. Robert was a WWII POW/Veteran. He retired from Vought Aircraft after 25 years as a parts inspector. Robert had a soft spot in his heart for animals. He loved humor and was known for telling stories and pulling practical jokes. Robert was preceded in death by his parents Robert LeRoy Cox and Lula Mae Simpson Cox; wife Anna Louise Anderson Cox; sisters, Birdie Cox and Jeanette Mims. Survivors: children Janet Jordan of Texas City, Norman Cox of Rolla, MO, Nancy Walsh of Tolar, Robert E. Cox of Deberry, Deborah Wendler of Holland; multiple grandchildren and great grandchildren; care givers Lore and Edmond Klavenicks.
