Robert Allen Craton was born in Shreveport, Louisiana on December 16th, 1965 to Bobby and Judy (Walker) Craton. He passed away peacefully July 27th, 2024 in Warner Robins Georgia.
Rob grew up in Burleson, Texas with his parents and two sisters Kellie and Bobbie Craton. Rob went to Burleson Schools until the 11th grade, his senior year his father was transferred to Warner Robins Airforce base where he graduated high school in Warner Robins GA. In his school years Rob participated in several activities such as basketball, baseball, and Boy Scouts.
After graduation, Rob moved back to Texas where he started working at South Town Ford in Burleson and John Eagle as a car salesman. Several years later Rob worked at Thomas Rubber Stamps Co, which he loved because of how creative he was. Rob was an artist who could draw anything imaginable. Rob loved doing anything that involved being in the Sun, anything in or around the water was the perfect spot. Rob was an outdoorsy person at heart, he loved going to Twin Points with his sisters and life long friend Rodney Vega on Sundays and going to Sam’s Jams afterward on the way home. In 1993, Rob’s pride and joy was born, his son Ryan. Rob loved taking his son and nephews to Trinity Park and sliding down the hills on cardboard boxes. During the winter months, Rob loved hanging out with family on Sundays and making his famous sticky chicken. He looked forward to any weekend spent with family and friends and the shenanigans that would happen. Later in life, Rob found his true love Shannon in Warner Robins GA and spent 10 years of love together.
Rob was preceded in death by his parents Bobby and Judy Craton, and his sister Bobbie Craton.
He is survived by his son Ryan Craton. His sister Kellie Craton Humpreys and husband Stacey Humpreys. Nephews: Kevin Gilliland and wife Nicole, Aaron Gilliland and wife Tina, Cory Miller and wife Summer, Matt Miller and husband Cleve, and Dylan Humpreys. 3 great nieces and 5 great nephews. And his love, Shannon Pry.
