Robert "Bob" Kirkman Neely, 78, of Joshua, Texas, passed away Jan. 20, 2017. He was born Jan. 7, 1939, in Fort Worth, Texas, to Thomas B. and Jeanette Neely. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 25, 2017, at NorthPointe First Baptist Church, officiated by Dr. David Hampton and Dr. Chris Shirley. Interment follows at Caddo Cemetery in Joshua. Visitation is from 6-8 p.m. Monday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Bob loved Scouting and served on the Joshua City Council. He was a member of the Joshua Lions Club and very active at NorthPointe First Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Tina Neely of Joshua; daughter, Debbie Stiles and husband, James, of Cleburne; son, Ronald Neely and wife, Kim, of Joshua; sister, Joan Neely of Dallas; five grandchildren, Stephanie, Stephen, Gabbie, Dani and Sami; five great-grandchildren, Isaac, Logan, Evan, Jazlynn and Valerie.
