FORT WORTH -- Robert Polson, 82 a retired Engineer, passed away September 10, 2012 in Fort Worth. Memorial Service: 11:00 AM, Friday, September 14, 2012 at First United Methodist Church of Burleson. Robert was born December 21, 1929 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Charles L. Sr. and Thelma Polson. He was a 50 year member Norwood Lodge #576 F & AM, Past Commander- Worth Commandry #19 Knights Templar of Texas, Moslah Shrine- Ceremonial Divan, Moslah Shrine Flying Fez, Secretary/Treasure, International Shrine Aviation Association, Past President-Worth Commandry #19 Drill Team. Survivors: Wife, Artis B. Polson; daughter Becky L. and husband Dr. Bob Hahnel; son, Scott Polson; daughter Heidi A. and husband Andrew Hallin; 5 grandchildren, Angela, Katy, Michele, Lindsay, & Kyle; 2 great-grandchildren, Gavin & Olivia and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorials: Shrine Hospitals, Knights Templar Eye Foundation; FUMC of Burleson.
