Robert "Bob" Rankin

BURLESON -- Robert "Bob" Rankin, 65, passed away Friday, Jan. 9, 2015, in Burleson. Service: 1 p.m. Tuesday at Burleson Church of Christ. Interment: Moore Memorial Gardens in Arlington. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Robert was Born Jan. 9, 1950, in Silsbee. He loved playing golf, working, sports, watching movies, and spending time with family. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Sheri Rankin. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army Reserve. He was a longtime member of Burleson Church of Christ. Survivors: Wife, Cindy Rankin of Burleson; sons, Scott Rankin and wife, Rachelle, of Ponder, Jake Rankin of Fort Worth, Bo Rankin and wife, Ashley, of Mansfield; daughters, Becki Gourley and husband, Chris, of Burleson, Teri Davis and husband, Bryan, of Burleson, Angi Durham and husband, Noel, of Burleson; 12 grandchildren; brothers, Jim Rankin and wife, Cathy, of Dallas, Tommy Wilson and wife, Beth, of Abilene; sisters, Karon Pender of Arlington, Kay Smith and husband, Ron, of Pleasanton, Teresa Garcia and husband, Fred, of Pleasanton; nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
