Roger Ray "Ricky" Wiggs

BURLESON -- Roger Ray "Ricky" Wiggs, 72, passed away Tuesday, July 19, 2016. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Roger was born July 8, 1944, in Fort Worth to Raymond and Daisy McCanless Wiggs. He loved guns, hunting, fishing, reading about history and he never met a stranger. Roger was known for saying, "Glad you got to see me." He retired from Central Freight Lines after 30-plus years of service. Roger served his country in the United States Air Force. He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents; and his granddaughter, Alyssa Phillips. Survivors: Wife of 52 years, Judy Wiggs of Burleson; daughter, Stephanie Shaw and husband, Jason, of Burleson; son, Philip Wiggs and wife, Elaine, of Richland Hills; grandson, Garrett Wiggs of Richland Hills; sisters, Chris Briggs and husband, Chuck and Pam Raby and husband, Eddie; and a host of family and friends.
