BURLESON -- Ronald L. McCullough, 63, a truck driver, died Thursday, Aug. 10, 2006, in Calvert. Funeral: 10 a.m. Tuesday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home Chapel. Burial: Burleson Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Ron was born June 10, 1943, in Red Oak, Iowa, to Leland and Dorothy McCullough. Ron was a loving husband and a phenomenal father who spent over 25 years of his professional career taking pleasure in the freedom he achieved behind the wheel of his truck. In his free time he enjoyed spending time with his family and working on projects at home. Ron was a member of the Norwalk Masonic Lodge in Norwalk, Calif. He was preceded in death by his father, Leland McCullough, in 1988. Survivors: Wife, Jamie McCullough of Burleson; daughters, Michele McCullough of Burleson, Shauna LeWright and husband, Billy of Burleson, Lisa Herwig of Tyler; sons, Brent McCullough of Burleson, Arthur Bloomingdale and wife, Misty of Abilene, Jack Bloomingdale of Killeen; mother, Dorothy McCullough of California; brothers, Roy McCullough of California, Rick McCullough of California; grandchildren, Taryn, Taylor, Kristopher, Cody, Bailee; in-laws, Donna and Charles Campbell of Oklahoma; numerous nieces, nephews, family members and friends.
