JOSHUA -- Ronald Monroe Singleton, 35, an active duty Intell Analyst with the Texas Army National Guard and Sprint Employee, died Saturday, September 16, 2006 at a Fort Worth Hospital from complications due to pneumonia. Funeral: 2:00 p.m., Thursday in Mountain Valley Funeral Home Chapel in Burleson. Burial: Caddo Cemetery in Joshua. Visitation: 6-9 p.m., Wednesday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Ronald was born July 21, 1971 in Fort Worth to George and Paula Moore Singleton. He graduated from Southwest High School in Fort Worth in 1990. He married his high school sweetheart, Cassondra Hollaway on March 20, 1992 in Fort Worth. Ronald proudly served his country during Operation Iraqi Freedom with the Texas Army National Guard 56 Brigade 36 ID. He was diagnosed with Leukemia while on an active duty tour in Iraq in June of 2005. He had two stem cell transplants and a relapse in his central nervous system, and died from complications of pneumonia. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, RC airplanes, RC cars, cooking, and loved activities with his boys.
