Ruby "Marie" Minor, 87, of Burleson, passed away May 10, in Burleson. Funeral Service: 11 AM Saturday, First Baptist Church of Burleson. Visitation: 10 AM Saturday, First Baptist Church of Burleson. Burial: Burleson Memorial Park. Marie was born January 24, 1929, in Fort Worth, to Aroma Parsons. Marie lived for her family and loved everyone. She was proud to be a grandma and loved to make her grandchildren happy. Marie worked at her church daycare. She loved to shop, especially for blouses and shoes which were her favorite. Survivors: Sons, Jimmy Minor and wife Edith of Burleson, David Minor of Burleson; Grandchildren, Shawn Minor and wife Michelle of Burleson, Sheri Ray and husband Hank of Stephenville, John Minor and wife Amelia of Loco, OK, Jacob Minor of Burleson, Ashley Flanagan and husband Ryan of Burneyville, OK; great grandchildren, Layton, Keith, Ashton, Maeci, Lauren, Emma, Sarah, Garrett, Wyatt; brother Bobby Robertson of Burleson. Marie is preceded in death by her husband Ed Minor; son, Rickey Minor; grandparents, Sam and Bessie Parsons; sister, Sammie Mooney.
