Ruby Jewel Woods

JOSHUA -- Ruby Jewel Woods, 85, retired, of Joshua died Thursday, March 20, 2008, in Fort Worth. Graveside service: 10 a.m. Monday in Emerald Hills Memorial Park, Kennedale. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Mrs. Woods was born Jan. 27, 1923, in Jack County. She enjoyed dancing, flea markets, and soap operas. She was a member of Lane Prairie Baptist Church in Joshua. She was preceded in death by her husband, Euell Woods. Survivors: Sons, Tommy Woods and wife, Shirley, of Granbury; Bobby Wayne Woods of Livingston; daughters, Sharron Allen and husband, James, of Joshua, Julia Harkcom and husband, Hollis, of Kopperl; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
