Ruth Eleanor (Aylor) Atcheson

Burleson, Texas - It is with great sadness Ruth Eleanor Aylor Atcheson passed away on July 12, 2024, in Burleson, Texas after a long illness. Ruth was born on June 26, 1938, in Culpeper Co., Virginia to Malon H. and Flore B. Aylor.
Ruth retired from L3 Communications in Houston, TX in July 2007 after 40 plus years of service.
Ruth had many hobbies from ceramics, painting wood crafts to square dancing. She was loved by many for her giving heart and baking birthday cakes for her co-workers.
She is preceded in death by her parents, brother Malon H. Aylor, Jr. and son Richard R. Atcheson, II. She is survived by her brother, Kemper H. (Brenda) Aylor of Virginia, sisters Annie (Bob) Ellis, Jo Ann Aylor Halaby, Sue (Jack) Beavers all of Texas and Diane (Jerry) Bomar of Tennessee and also numerous nieces and nephews.
Interment will be by the side of her son at the Mount Olivet Catholic Cemetery, Dickinson, Texas.
She will be missed by many.
