Ruth Hicks, 74, A loving wife, mother and friend, of Burleson, passed away Sunday September 6, 2015. Service: 11 a.m Friday, Bethesda Baptist Church, Burleson. Visitation: 6-8 p.m Thursday, Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Ruth was born March 9, 1941, in Fort Worth, to William and Sarah (Ward) Sharp. She was preceded in death by her parents Bill and Sarah Sharp, brother Jimmy Sharp and sister Reba Russell. She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years Otis Hicks, of Burleson. daughters: Judi Hamm and husband Ralph, of Brownwood, TX, Jana Watkins and husband Lloyd, of Burleson; son, Jamie Hicks and wife Lorrie, of Spring, TX; grandchildren, Michael, Tracie, Brandi, Josh and Amber; great-grandchildren: Cayden, Kimberly, Aiden, Aubri, Ace; and a host of other nieces, nephews, extended family and friends
