Sarah Gay (Mc Cracken) Henry

Sarah Henry, 76, died Sunday, March 27, 2022, at her home surrounded by her family.  Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm, April 5, 2022, at Sunset Cemetery in Sunset, Texas.  A funeral service will also be held 11:00 am, April 5, 2022, at Christ Chapel Bible Church (chapel) in Fort Worth, Texas.

She was born March 30, 1945, to parents, Oscar and Bonnie McCracken.  In 1963, she graduated as Salutatorian from Bowie High School.  She married Jim Henry on July 18, 1970.  She worked at Energy Service Company in Bowie for 11 years and retired as a legal assistant in 2001.  She enjoyed quilting and spending time with her children and grand kids.  She was a member of Christ Chapel Bible Church in Fort Worth.

Preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Bonnie McCracken, twin sister, Sandy Briggs, and infant daughter, Rhonda Gay Sinks.  Survivors include her husband, Jim Henry of Joshua; daughter, Kristi Klund and husband David of Joshua; son, Wes Henry and wife Tracy of Bowie; brother Joe McCracken and wife Dot of Plano; grandchildren P’Dee Klund of Joshua, Kaydee Klund of Plantation, Florida, Harli Henry of Keller, Texas, Colt Henry and Abbi Henry of Bowie; step-grandchildren Aslyn and Bret Davis of Bowie and step-great grandson, Beau Davis of Bowie; numerous nieces and nephews.
