We are sad to announce the sudden passing of Scott Alan Bryan on June 27, 2023, at the age of 51.
Scott was born on July 17, 1971, to Carol Bryan (Rarick) and the late Dave Bryan. He grew up in Burleson, TX with his parents and his sister, Dawn Manry (Bryan). Scott was employed at James Hardee in Cleburne, TX.
Scott graduated from Burleson High School in 1990, eventually moving to Cleburne, making it his hometown. His family was most important to Scott followed by his love of music. He took that passion and shared with others his talents of playing the drums for many years. He loved learning new songs to play on his drums as well as playing those songs for his friends. Scott also had a love for the outdoors including fishing, classic cars, and hot rods.
Scott was preceded in death by his father, Dave Bryan, and nephew Curtis.
Scott is survived by his fiancé, Jo Adcock. His two sons, Dawson, and Thomas Bryan; his mother, Carol Bryan of Burleson; his sister, Dawn Bryan Manry and husband Dean of Burleson; nieces Justine, Jessica, Hannah, and nephew Joshua, all of Burleson, TX.
Scott had a heart of gold and a huge contagious smile. He will forever live in our hearts.
Visitation will be for family and friends on Sunday, July 2nd, 2023, from 4-6 PM at Mountain Valley Funeral Home in Joshua, TX.
Graveside services will be on Monday, July 3rd, 2023, at 10:00 AM at Rose Hill Cemetery in Cleburne, TX
A celebration of life will be held at a later date for family and friends at Pathway Church in Burleson, TX.
