Shirley Sanders Meadows

Shirley Sanders Meadows passed away on Thursday, August 26, 2021. Born September 15, 1953, in Cleburne, Texas, her professional career was spent at Southwestern Bell Telephone/SBC/AT&T. Shirley enjoyed traveling, needlework, quilting, card making, and local live theater and music.  She participated in live productions with the Greater Cleburne Carnegie Players and Southwest Reprise Theatre, where she made her directorial debut in June 2021.

Shirley is survived by her husband of 47 years, Barry Meadows, daughter Amber Meadows and husband Cabel Brooks, granddaughter Shaelyn, siblings Charlene Sanders Wood, Mike Sanders and wife Caren, Darla Seawright and husband Russell, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, nieces, and friends. Two days after her passing, Shirley’s son Alan joined her in heaven.

Alan and Shirley will have a Joint Graveside service at Greenacres Memorial Park, Saturday, September 18, 2021 at 10am
