Shirley Ann Scott

Shirley Ann Scott, 81, of Burleson passed away Thursday, Dec. 3, 2015. Memorial service: 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 9, 2015, in the Mountain Valley Funeral Home Chapel in Joshua. No visitation scheduled at this time. Shirley was born Jan. 13, 1934, in Fort Worth, Texas, to Jesse and Katheryn Huffman. She loved working in her garden, landscaping, cooking, traveling and sightseeing. Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, Durwood Scott, and son, David Scott. Survivors: son, Wendell Scott and wife, Chelle, of Burleson; daughter, Wanda Huneycutt and husband, Steve, of Windsor, Colorado; grandchildren, Greg Scott and wife, Erin, Brad Huneycutt and Abbey Huneycutt; great-grandchildren, Xavier, Eli Durwood and Grayson; brother, Jesse Huffman; sister, Marilynn Duty; and a host of many other friends, family and loved ones.
