Sidney Waits

CROWLEY -- Sidney Waymon Waits, 40, a mechanic, died Thursday, Sept. 25, 2008, in Joshua. Memorial service: 2 p.m. Monday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home Chapel. Sidney was born Jan. 7, 1968, in Arlington to Ronald Gene and Glenda Johnson Waits. Sidney was a loving father, son and friend. He loved art, music, especially playing the harmonica, and drawing. Sidney was preceded in death by a nephew, Bobby Gene Rothel. Survivors: Daughter, Kristen Ohara of Fort Worth; father, Ronald Gene Waits and wife, Rosie, of Crowley; mother, Glenda Wilson of Cleburne; sisters, Sheryl Waits of Keene, Gina Michelle Wooten and husband, Ronald, of Burleson; brother, Ronald Glen Waits of Joshua; stepbrother, Wesley Waits; grandson, Bryson; nieces, Erica, Julie, Stacy, Kayla.
