Susan Elaine Jones

Susan Elaine Jones, 51, of Joshua, a homemaker, passed away Thursday, July 30, 2009, at her home in Joshua. Graveside service: 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 6, in Caddo Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Susan was born June 25, 1958, in Odessa to Clarence and Jeanne Hughes Barfield. Susan married Kevin Jones on Oct. 6, 2002, in Cleburne. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Susan loved babies, animals, shopping and spending time with her family along with family events. She also enjoyed listening to Kevin's music. She was known and loved by her silky, beautiful blonde hair. Susan was a friend to everyone and they all loved her. She was preceded in death by her father in 2003. Survivors: Husband, Kevin Jones of Joshua; mother, Jeanne Barfield of Houston; sons, Matthew Wilson of Joshua, Joshua Wilson and Natalie Young of Alvarado; daughter, Lyndsay Wilson of Joshua; brothers, Dennis Barfield and wife, Jackie, Nat Barfield and wife, Dana, Kevin Barfield and wife, Donna; grandchildren, Ezekiel Grant, Presley Wilson.
