Susan Helene (Baltrunat) Winebrenner
Susan Helene Winebrenner, 78, of Burleson, Texas passed away on February 17, 2025. She was born on May 25, 1946, to Harry and Katherine Baltrunat and was the beloved wife of Philip Winebrenner for nearly 53 years. She was a devoted mother to Carrie and Daniel (Ashley) and a proud grandmother to Carson and Audrey, who were the absolute highlights of her life.
Throughout her career as an elementary/middle school/university educator, church choir member, or during everyday life, Susan's faith was the foundation of everything she did. She lived with an unshakable trust in God's promises and a deep assurance that when her time came, she would be in good hands. She often reminded her family, "Remember, you're a Winebrenner!"-a phrase that carried weight not just in name but in the values she instilled: kindness, integrity, and an unrelenting belief in the goodness of God. (Isaiah 43:2)
Susan was kind and welcoming to everyone she met. But those closest to her knew she had a quick wit that kept them on their toes, and she always had a song running through her mind; music was woven into her soul. No matter what life brought, she found a way to sing through it.
Though she is no longer here, her love, laughter, and faith live on in those she held dear. And if we listen closely, we just might hear her singing along, with the best seat in the house for all the great things yet to come.
A Celebration of Life will be held later this spring. In lieu of flowers, Susan would have loved to know you gave a donation to the charity closest to your heart.
