BURLESON -- Susie Luera Jimenez, 72, a homemaker, died Wednesday, Dec. 20, 2006, in Fort Worth. Funeral: 1 p.m. Saturday in Mountain Valley Funeral Home Chapel in Burleson. Burial: Country Oaks Cemetery in Hico. Rosary: 7 p.m. Friday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Mrs. Jimenez was born Aug. 10, 1934, in San Diego, Texas, to Guadalupe and Lorenza Guerra Luera. She married Napoleon Jimenez on July 29, 1958, in Corpus Christi. She loved cooking for her family, flea markets, and singing. She was a Catholic. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Luis and Lorenzo Luera; sisters, Guadelupe Garcia, and Esther Gaitan. Survivors: Husband of 48 years, Napoleon "Napo" Jimenez of Burleson; son, Napoleon Jimenez Jr. and wife, Chris, of Fort Worth; daughters, Zelda Travis and husband, Mark, of Fort Worth, Sandra Grisham and husband, David, of Burleson, Deborah Garcia and husband, Antonio, of Hico; brothers, Fernando Luera and wife, Mary, of Fort Worth, Pete Luera of San Diego, Guadalupe Luera Jr. of Fort Worth; sisters, Adela Sifuntes and husband Frank, of LaMarque, Janie Davila of Fort Worth, Eva Caceras of Forest Hill; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
