JOSHUA -- Tammy Jean Mallicote and Bailey Dean Hawkins, loving mother and newborn son, died from injuries sustained in an auto accident. Tammy died Friday, Oct. 7, 2005, and Bailey died Saturday, Oct. 8, 2005. Funeral: 1 p.m. Thursday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home in Burleson. Burial: Mount Olivet Cemetery in Fort Worth. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Tammy was born Feb. 9, 1970, to Jerry and Margie Mallicote. Bailey was born Oct. 7, 2005, to Ken Hawkins and Tammy Mallicote. On the day of Oct. 7, 2005, a young mother lost her life. She left behind two young boys and an unborn child who will never see his mother's smile or hear her laugh. The boys were her world. Survivors: Tammy is survived by her husband, Ken Hawkins; sons, Tyler James Bracken and Kennedy Christian Hawkins; mother, Margie Vowell and husband, Tommy, of Joshua; father, Jerry Mallicote and wife, Linda, of Tennessee; grandmother, Jean Long of Fort Worth; brothers, Michael and David of Tennessee; sisters Amy, Carla and Jenny, of Tennessee; Aunt Mary and Uncle Claude of Burleson; cousin, Carol Francis of Burleson; numerous other beloved family members. Bailey is survived by his father, Ken Hawkins; brothers, Tyler James Bracken and Kennedy Christian Hawkins; grandmothers, Patsy Hawkins and Margie Vowell; grandfather, Jerry Mallicote; great-grandmother, Jean Long; and uncle, Jerry Hawkins.
