Tammy Denise Neeley

September 14, 1957 — November 20, 2023

Tammy Denise Neeley was born September 14, 1957 to Lyman and Barbara Cronkrite. She grew up with her parents, brother Ronnie, and sister Becky in Lillian TX, where she attended school and ultimately graduated from Alvarado High School. Tammy frequently told stories of her childhood and the fond memories she held of a close community of friends and family.

Tammy was married to James Neeley for 30 wonderful years and together they raised three daughters Jamie, Lisa, and Kelsey. Tammy loved gardening and raising animals on the farm where she and James lived in Joshua, TX, but more so she loved sharing her knowledge and love for agriculture with her grandchildren Dylan, Jayden, and Olivia. Over the years, Tammy became a source of stability for her many friends and family who always knew that you could find her at home for a delicious meal and some no-nonsense compassion when needed.

God called Tammy home on the morning of Monday, November 20th, 2023 while surrounded by her daughters and husband. Tammy was preceded in death by her father Lyman, sister Becky, brother Ronnie, and daughter Jamie, who we believe were there to welcome her to heaven with open arms. She is survived by her mother Barbara, husband James, daughter Lisa and husband Denver Oaks, daughter Kelsey and husband Eric Belt, and grandchildren Dylan, Jayden, and Olivia.
