Terri June Schaffner

BURLESON -- Terri June Schaffner, 62, of Burleson, a homemaker, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 13, 2011, with her family by her side. Memorial service: 2 p.m. Saturday in Mountain Valley Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Terri was born July 30, 1949, in Cleburne to Red and Violet May Stamper. She married Jim Schaffner on May 7, 1971, in Joshua. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Terri loved cooking, visiting with family and friends, shopping, sewing, camping out and going to the coast. She was preceded in death by her parents; twin brother, Jerry Stamper; and sister, Larrea Adair. Survivors: Husband, Jim Schaffner of Burleson; sons, Jim Schaffner Jr. and Jeremy Schaffner, both of Burleson; daughter, Bernice Kearney of San Antonio; brother, Jesse Hamilton of Fort Worth; grandson, Nathan Schaffner of Burleson; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
