Theodore Young Byrd, 80, passed away February 18, 2018. Graveside: 10AM Thursday, February 22, 2018 at Mountain Valley Chapel. Visitation: 6-8PM Wednesday, February 21, 2018 at the funeral home. Interment: Caddo Cemetery. Theodore was born February 20, 1937 to Sherman and Ila (Hester) Byrd. He loved hunting, fishing, gardening, and going to the flea market. Theodore enjoyed tinkering in his workshop. He was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Elaine Byrd; his parents; and 2 sisters. Survivors: sons, Eugene Byrd and wife, Stella of Joshua, Mickie Byrd and wife, Janet of Joshua, also Ronnie Byrd and wife, Windy of Sweeny; daughter, Debbie Maxey and husband, Jack of Joshua; grandchildren, Hunter, Hoyt, Misty, Chelsey, Zack, Caitlyn, Dylan, Brady, and Randy; 7 great-grandchildren; many other extended family and friends.
