Thomas Eugene Smith

Thomas Eugene Smith, 62, passed away April 23, 2013, in a Fort Worth hospital. Memorial Service: 2:30 PM, Sunday, April 28, 2013 at Lane Prairie Baptist Church in Joshua. Thomas was born February 1, 1951 in New Castle, Indiana to Carl Delbert and Betty Jean Smith Neel. He was preceded in death by: parents and brother-in-law, James T. (Ted) Gregg. Survivors: daughters, Cassie Smith Guthrie and husband John of Joshua, Bri Anne Smith Crooks and husband Chris of Grandview; granddaughters, Cayleigh Guthrie of Joshua, Kynli, Brelynn, and Regan Crooks of Grandview; grandson, Coleson Crooks of Grandview; sister, Brenda Gregg of Burleson; brother, Larry Neel of Garland; niece, Cheri Crow and husband Steven of Garland, nephew, James Neel and many extended family and wonderful friends. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Lane Prairie Baptist Church in Joshua, Texas for evangelism and missions. Thomas loved to work in these ministries.
