U.D. Sanders

BURLESON -- U.D. Sanders, 84, a retired truck driver with Burris Mills / Cargill, died Thursday, January 4, 2007 in Keene. Graveside service: 2:00 p.m., Saturday. Burial: Burleson Memorial Park. Visitation: 5-8 p.m., Friday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home in Burleson. U.D. Sanders was born Nov. 5, 1922 in Johnson County, Texas to Frank and Docia Cline Sanders. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy and married Runell Summerlin on January 13, 1944 in Cleburne. She preceded him in death on March 5, 2000. U.D. was a very loving brother and uncle who loved his wife of 56 years dearly. He liked deer hunting, fishing, his dog, and being around cattle. He was a born again christian, ready to go home to Heaven, and a dedicated hard worker who was a good friend to all. Survivors: Sister, Becky Gallup and husband Ernest of Oklahoma; numerous nieces, nephews, and many good friends.
