Vanetta Lee Herron

Vanetta Lee Herron was born in Ft Worth, Texas on January 20, 1952 to Van and Francis (Atchley) Robinett. Vanetta passed away peacefully early Monday morning December 19, 2022 surrounded by her family.

Vanetta grew up in Hurst, Texas with her parents and sister, Brenda Allen, and brother, Vance Robinett.

Vanetta met the love of her life, David Herron, in 1964. David and Vanetta married December 5, 1968. Vanetta was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. David and Vanetta raised three wonderful children in Euless, Texas. Shelley Love, Shawn Herron and Shana Ashmore. They also have seven grandchildren together, Tucker Love, Aulden Love, Marin Love, Hadley Herron, Everlee Herron, Brooke Ashmore and Morgan Ashmore. Vanetta loved to spend time with her family and her pets, sew, read, travel, camp, craft and take care of her plants. David and Vanetta moved to Grandview, Texas in 2012 to be closer to her parents and help with their care.

Vanetta was preceded in death by her parents, Van and Francis Robinett and her brother, Vance Robinett.

Vanetta is survived by her husband of 54 years, David Herron, her sister, Brenda Allen, her husband, Terry Allen, her sister-in-law Marlene Robinett and David and Vanetta’s three children, their spouses and seven grandchildren.

Shelley and Greg Love and their children Tucker, Aulden and Marin of Henderson, Texas.

Shawn and Tiffany Herron and their children Hadley and Everlee of Ft Worth, Texas.

Shana and Steve Ashmore and their children Brooke and Morgan of Mineral Wells, Texas.

Vanetta requested a small family celebration of life service that will take place in the near future.

Vanetta was forever loved and never forgotten. She was also the love of David’s life, an adored mother and a cherished Granna.
