Ms Velma "Faye" Quine Kimmey, 77, passed away at her home in Joshua, TX, on Oct 1, 2024.
Born on November 2, 1946 in Talco, TX, she was the daughter of the late Edmond C Quine and Mary Laws Quine. Faye was a well known and long time barber in Crowley, TX and most recently in Burleson, TX in the shop she owned, Faye's Old Town Barber Shop, until her retirement.
She is survived by her son Charles E (Eddie) Kimmey (Christine), grandson Clay E Kimmey (Thessa), great granddaughter Isla Kimmey, sisters Brenda Riley (Jack), Nancy McGinnis (Mark), nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Ms Kimmey was preceded in death by her parents, Edmond and Mary Quine, and two brothers, infant Charles E Quine and James Floyd (Buddy) Quine.
Ms Kimmey was cremated in accordance with her request.
In lieu of services, there will be an intimate family gathering for interment at 11 am on Nov 6 at Rosewood Cemetery in Longview, TX.
