Vera Lynn Martin

Vera Lynn Martin, 75, passed away January 12, 2015, at home. Service: 10:00 AM, Friday, January 16, 2015 Mountain Valley Funeral Home Chapel. Interment: Emerald Hills Memorial Park Kennedale. Visitation: 6-8 PM, Thursday at the funeral home. Vera was born July 27, 1939, in Fort Worth to Virgil J. and Lynnie D. (Hough) Rhodes. She liked to crochet, enjoyed reading books especially her Bible and liked doing crafts and cooking. Vera loved her family dearly, especially her grandkids. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Jesse Rhodes. Survivors: sons, Steve Fain and wife Julie of Alvarado, Don Martin and wife Cathy of Mansfield, Dewayne Martin of Cleburne, David Martin and wife Rene of Rio Vista; brother, Virgil Rhodes and wife Helen of Joshua; 11 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
