Vera Mae Moore

Vera Moore was born in Fort Worth, Texas July 1, 1931 and passed away in Burleson, Texas on December 25, 2020.  She was a homemaker with interest including reading, crafting, quilting and traveling.  Vera had a great love for her family and friends.

She is preceded in death by husband James Moore; son-in-law Wayne Whitney and parents Herbert and Gladys Jewett.

Vera is survived by daughters Sheila Purdy (Dan Tartaglia), and Phillis McTaggart (Guy).  Grandsons Bryan Whitney (Trina) and Brandon Whitney (Leah); Great Grandchildren Tanner, Kane, Kendall and Rylee Whitney; brothers Joe Jewett (Ann); David Jewett (Melba) and sister Doris O’Toole.

She will be missed by many and forever in our hearts.  Heartfelt appreciation for Gateway Hospice, Melba Jewett and Ruth York for their love and support during this time of need.
