Vernon Verbie Hamm, 79, passed away Saturday, November 26, 2016. Funeral Service: 1 PM Wednesday, November 30th, Mountain Valley Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation: 6-8PM Tuesday, Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Interment: Morgan Mills Cemetery. Dinner to be served at Cleburne Baptist Temple, following graveside services. Vernon was born March 21, 1937 in Fort Worth to Verbie and Isobel Hamm. He retired from Bell Helicopter as a forklift driver for 37 years. Vernon is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Mary G. Hamm; brother, Dewey Hamm; sisters, Mary M. Hamm, Agnes A. Ferris. Survivors: wife, Iva Hamm; children, Sherri Yontz and husband, Grover, Dawn Troyer and husband, Andy, Robin Hamm and wife, Laura, Vickie Cameron and husband, Charles, Barbara Daniels, Mark Troha and wife, Vela; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, JoAnna Booth; wonderful nieces and nephews.
