Vernon Wayne Johnson, 75, of Joshua, passed away Wednesday, October 3, 2018 in Burleson, TX
Visitation will be held at Mountain Valley Funeral Home Friday, October 5, 2018, from 6-8 pm.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at First United Methodist Church of Joshua
Graveside service will be held following the funeral at Caddo Cemetery in Joshua, TX
Vernon was born on November 28, 1942 to Lecil and Fredda Johnson in Cleburne, TX. He served in the Air Force followed by a 37 year career at Bell Helicopter.
Survivors: wife, Bonnie (Anderson) Johnson; children: Robert Johnson, Ronda (Johnson) Davis and husband Stephen Davis, and Devin Johnson and wife Keri (Schneck) Johnson; sisters Lynda and husband Leonard Prynka, Glenda and husband Ricky Dunn, and brother Dennis Johnson and wife Ruby; grandchildren Haley, Jordan, John "J" Davis, Lainey and Marley Johnson, Landon Crutchfield, Jaydon Doyle; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Encompass Hospice Cares 901 W. Rosedale #250 Fort Worth, TX 76104
