JOSHUA -- Betty Jean Vickers, 77, of Joshua, a retired cafeteria worker at Mound Elementary in Burleson, died Wednesday, May 28, 2008, in Fort Worth. Funeral: 2 p.m. Saturday at Boulevard Baptist Church in Burleson. Interment: Burleson Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Betty Jean Vickers was born April 5, 1931, in Mullin to Luther and Delsie Pittman Mosier. Betty was a member of Boulevard Baptist Church in Burleson, and was a fun-loving person who always made others smile. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Clark Mosier; and her husband, Kenneth Gene Vickers. Survivors: Sons, Larry Charles Pierce of Crowley, Ronald Clark Lomax and Belynda Sanders of Joshua; daughters, Sylvia Graham of Glen Rose, Jean Janda of Burleson, Saundra Davis and husband, Weldon, of Waco, Mary Davis and husband, Skipper, of Poolville; sister, Anna Pritchard and husband, Dale, of Joshua; 12 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
