Virgel Ray "Pap" Preissinger

Virgel Ray "Pap" Preissinger, 82 of Joshua, a self-employed backhoe operator, died Saturday, May 14, 2011, in Fort Worth. Graveside service: 11 a.m. Wednesday in Caddo Cemetery, 6800 FM 1902 Joshua. Visitation: 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Mr. Preissinger was born Sept. 13, 1928, in Mineral Wells to Mr. and Mrs. Robert Leonard Preissinger. He married Faye Carr on Nov. 27, 1949, in Denison. She preceded him in death on Dec. 5, 2004. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force. Survivors: Sons, Lewis, Ronnie, Billy and Robert, and their families; 18 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
