Virginia Carol Calvery, 83, passed away Saturday, Feb. 11, 2017, in Joshua. Visitation from 10am to 11am Saturday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home, 3407 SW Wilshire Blvd, Joshua, followed by funeral at 11. Burial: Greathouse Cemetery, Temple. Virginia was born on November 20, 1933 in Heidenheimer, Texas to Glen and Hazel Baird. She graduated from Somerville High School in 1952 and went on to work for Santa Fe Railroad for 42 years until she retired in 1995 She is preceded in death by her infant sons Lester and Chester Calvery; Father Glen Baird, Mother Hazel Baird, Brother-in-law Edwin Griffin, Nephew David Griffin and Brother-in-law Kevin Harmon. Survived by Son Mark Calvery and wife Nancy and Daughter Mary Calvery Page. Sisters Frances Griffin, Anna Belle Row and husband Joe, Glen Baird and wife Gloria and Betty Harmon. Grandchildren Brian Calvery and wife Stephanie, Brenda Graevell and husband Max and Katherine Hazelip and husband Paul Great Grandchildren Bri'an Calvery, Stefaun Calvery, Madison Graevell, Jayden Graevell, Kinslee Graevell, Katelynn Hazelip, Abbey Hazelip and many extended family and friends.
